Admission Requirements

Advanced Diploma
- For entry into most UAUR advanced diploma programs, you need to have completed a minimum level of education similar to successful completion of Rwanda Year 12 with good grades.
- Further studies, for example, a semester or more at college or university, can also be considered for entry and may give you credit transfer towards a degree.
- Some examples of upper secondary qualifications and a guide to the minimum grades that UAUR will consider are listed below. These are minimum requirements and do not guarantee entry. Some programs may require higher grades. Alternative qualifications may also be considered on a case by case basis.
- If your qualification (grouped by country) is not listed below, send the qualification transcripts with your application form to the International Officefor assessment.
- In addition to the listed qualifications, successful completion of UAUR’s Tertiary Preparation Pathway program or another recognized pre-tertiary or foundation program may also meet academic entry requirements.
- In addition to the listed qualifications, successful completion of USC’s Tertiary Preparation Pathway (TPP)program or another recognized pre-tertiary or foundation program may also meet academic entry requirements.
- If English is not your first language, you also need to meet the minimum English language requirements for your chosen program. If you do not meet the minimum requirements, you may like to enroll in one of our English Language Programs.

Registration
Apply online or send your filled application form on our registered postal address.

Interview
Eligible candidates will be called for an interview, along with necessary documents.

Submission
Selected candidates need to submit all required documents along with the fee payment.
Date
Guidelines
The School opens admission in September every year. Admission is a two step process. In the first step the Student write an entrance test after the registration.

Deadline for applicants to fifth and eighth grades to submit application and application fee for a guaranteed on-campus interview. -
January 2024
Admission application deadline, financial aid application deadline. -
March 2024
Admission decision notification for eighth, ninth, and tenth grades. -
March 2024
Admission decision notification for fifth grade. -
April 2024
Start of the new session. Candidates are required to bring admission confirmation letter upon first visit.
